GHOUL://RE can be an absolutely abysmal experience if you don't know what you need to do. True to the nature of many Roblox games, you'll be thrown into the world, expect to know everything while a swarm of high level players absolutely destroy you. What fun!
This is exactly why we created this Complete Beginner's guide to GHOUL://RE, so you can have a better experience than we initially had.
The first time you log into the game, you'll get to choose between either being male or female, and picking a name for your character. Unfortunately, you won't get to choose the team you'll be playing on, which is probably for the best, but we digress.
You'll be randomly assigned to either CCG (Humans) or Ghouls. If you aren't happy with your choice, fear not, because you'll be seeing this screen relatively soon, and hopefully, you'll be able to try out the other team (hopefully).
We highly recommend you take a look at the controls before you attempt to play GHOUL://RE. Definitely make sure you to remember the controls for grabbing (because it's used as a finisher), as you'll be using this one a lot.

GHOUL://RE describes itself as a hardcore PvP game, and it certainly lives up to that description. As soon as you spawn into the world, you are essentially a sitting duck, just waiting for high level players to destroy you, even if they gain nothing out of doing so.
To progress in GHOUL://RE, you need to kill other players (sometimes NPCs), not get killed by other players, and occasionally upgrade your skills and weapons. This is the basic gameplay loop regardless if you're playing as a ghoul or human.
One thing you definitely need to keep in mind is: you will die over, and over, and over again. If you're okay with that, cool, you'll fit right in. Otherwise, this may not be the game for you. You'll likely die less if you're playing in a group, but if you're going in solo (like we did), get ready for a less-than-ideal experience of you getting killed, spawn killed, and killed again until you figure everything out. Alternatively, you can read this guide and avoid all of that.
If you've spawned as a human, the first thing you need to do is visit the CCG building and become an Investigator. The CCG building is located around the middle of the map. Just look for a walled building with a little park in the walled area, and you're all set. You'll likely see other CCG humans coming in and out of the building. Walk in and talk to the receptionist to become a member.
From then on, you can accept missions, bounties and take part in events around town for the CCG. You can also buy and craft weapons from this building. Our advice is to pick up a starter weapon, find or create a crew of other humans, and go on a patrol to gain some experience so you can improve your Stats & Skills.
At Investigator rank 1, you'll be able to create your first Quinque. Definitely bring a crew with you for this because you may end up losing your money if you fail.
Unfortunately, if you're playing as a human, you'll likely have a harder time leveling up than playing as a ghoul but this should change for the better as development of the game continues.
According to the Discord (and our experience), being a ghoul is a lot more fun. In fact, it's almost a breeze when you compare the two. As a ghoul you need to eat other human players and NPCs to increase your RC, which ultimately makes you stronger. While you can't regenerate your health as fast as humans, you have more health, are stronger and, yeah, you're more likely to win fights. The only annoying thing is you need to keep your Hunger in check by constantly eating, but that's just part of being a ghoul.
When you gain 5,000 RC, you can wake up your Kugane which makes you almost unbeatable to the point where the only thing other players can do is wait for your Hunger bar to drop.
Ghouls can also accept missions from Anteiku which can earn them ranks and some money.
Every server hour, there will be a perma-death showdown between all players - Delirum. You'll be given a warning when this is about to start and you can choose to close the game and move to a different server. During the deathmatch, you earn improved rewards, better loot, but if you get killed, you lose everything, including your character.
While this may sound bad, it's also a chance for you to get reborn, or in other words, change your faction. If you die during the perma-death event, you'll be sent to purgatory, and you'll get a chance to be reborn again and start fresh. It's still random whether or not you'll be reborn as the other faction, but either way, you'll start from scratch no matter what you end up getting.
So, if you're sick of being a human, hopefully you can get reborn as a ghoul, or vice-versa.

]]>There are plenty of rare and elusive fish you can catch in the fishing simulator Fisch found on Roblox. And, thanks to the recent Ancient Isle, there are even more added to the list, one of them being the Travis Scott fish.
This special fish is actually a shiny version of the Napoleon fish already found in the game. If you’re interested in catching the Travis Scott fish to impress your friends, we’ve got all the details on how to do it.
Since the Travis Scott fish is a shiny mutation of the Napoleon fish, you can find it where you’d normally catch Napoleon fish. The best place to do this is Sunstone Island. To get there, head to the northwest of Moosewood.
You should get the island’s name to pop up if you’re heading in the right direction. Simply follow the text to get there. The coordinates are -750, 136, and -1316 if you have the GPS unlocked.
You can fish anywhere there is water surrounding the island; however, the best spot for the Napoleon fish specifically is on a rock on a small outcrop of land under a palm tree. Once you’ve found this spot, it’s time to start fishing.
Casting your rod out into the water and reeling in fish is the only way you’re going to acquire the Travis Scott fish. Keep fishing until you find one. You can try moving around to different spots on the island as well, just to keep things fresh. However, you’ll want to spend most of your time under the coconut tree.
While fishing is up to chance, there are certain things that will make this fish more likely to be caught. First is the season, time, and weather. Your best chance is to be there on a summer day when it’s windy.
If you get a Shiny Surge in your server, this is also one of the best times to go hunting for the Travis Scott fish. You’ll have a 3% increased chance of catching any shiny, including the one you’re looking for. Shiny fish aren’t the easiest to catch, so any boost helps.
You can also affect your chance of getting the shiny Travis Scott fish, depending on what fishing rod you use. Your best choice will be the Rod of The Depths since it gives a good luck boost. It’s also near the top of our Fisch fishing rod tier list. It will give you a better chance of catching a rare fish, like the Napoleon fish.
The Trident Rod and Destiny Rod are also good quality rods that increase your luck. If you don’t have the Rod of The Depths, they’re also great options.
Be aware that the Napoleon fish is a rare fish, so you won’t come across it as much as you would a common fish like a Sweet fish or a Glass fish. Even more, the Travis Scott fish is a shiny, making it even more rare. You’ll need persistence to catch it.
If you’ve got the cash to spare, Merlin is located at the top of Sunstone Isle, and this wizard will sell you a Luck IV for 5,000 C$. This will boost your good luck by 30% for ten minutes when activated. It’s an easy way to increase your chances.
If you’ve caught a fair amount of Napoleon fish and still aren’t having any luck getting the Travis Scott shiny, you can take your fish to the Appraiser on Moosewood, and there is a chance it will be revealed to be a shiny.
Unfortunately, you will need to pay 450 C$ for each fish you appraise, and you need to travel all the way back to Moosewood to reach her. I wouldn’t recommend doing this unless you’ve been fishing for quite some time with no luck.
Once you’ve got a Travis Scott fish, you’ll be able to do with it as you please. Whether you want to show it off or simply admire the black hair locks on the fish, you’ll be proud to have one.

Fire Spirit Added
Exiled is full of spooky monsters out to get you and your loot. You can’t reliably kill them without traps, but there’s a special strategy to deal with each one. From coping stalkers to dealing with those annoying bats, here’s how to beat all monsters in Exiled Roblox.
Each monster in Exiled has a specific way you need to deal with it to avoid getting killed. The best perks against monsters that I recommend are the Spiritual Sense perk to detect them and Lurker to hide from them. Here are all monsters, and then let's talk in-depth strategy to deal with all of them:
While traps aren’t technically monsters, they can also kill you. So I’ll show you how to deal with them or even use them to kill other monsters. Note that you cannot kill any monsters unless you use traps. I don’t recommend trying to hit them with your torch, as you’ll just take unnecessary damage or die. My last general tip is that you can trap monsters using doors or bait them into traps, which I’ll talk about below.
The Stone Golem automatically dies after a while as it chases you. This Stone creature is probably the first enemy you’ll come across. You can easily spot them in the dark thanks to their glowing white eyes. As soon as you get close, they’ll start running towards you, and I recommend having a light source. Light slows them down as they recoil from it, and this way, you can easily keep them safe as they crumble shortly after.
Bats or Watchwings will chase you as long as you have a light source like a Torch or a Lantern, so snuff those out. You can’t kill bats with your torch or the push. Instead, I recommend just turning off your light, and they’ll stop attacking you. Ignore them, pick up your loot, and get out of there. You’ll usually hear their screeching sounds first before you see them, so take this as your cue to turn off the light.
Fire Spirits are the opposite of bats since they will ignore you if you have a lit Torch equipped. They usually come in groups but you'll easily spot them glowing like the Eye of Sauron, so it's quite easy to prepare for them. Just make sure you have a torch with enough flame to last you as you loot around the Fire Spirits. I recommend lighting a brazier as soon as you see it so that you have a place to relight your torch.
The blind Flesh Hunter is a gimmick enemy in Exiled, and you need to crouch with Ctrl or C to not make a sound. Don’t try to run or walk once you see him; just crouch and move away. It’s incredibly fast and deals a lot of damage. Just deal with the fact that you’ll have to crouch through loot gathering and make as much distance from it before you start to walk or run.
If it’s already chasing you, run away as much as you can and then hide and crouch. The great part is that you can have a light source on hand since it can’t, well, see. Also, the Adrenaline Rush perk helps greatly with Flesh Hunters for that speed boost after getting hit.
Stalkers are mean killing machines that you should never look at or get too close to. They’re fast, similar to the Flesh Hunters, and they also deal great damage. You can find them waiting in the corners of dungeons, so be extra careful when entering a room. If you see a Stalker, immediately look away and retreat.
If you don’t have a choice and must make your way past one, try to edge your way around his aggro perimeter slowly while looking away. If you hear it moving, run to make some distance. It’s a slow process, but as long as you don’t look and create enough distance, you’ll be fine. Invisibility potions are great here as well.
Spinning Blades and Spike Traps are easy to spot and avoid if you’re careful when entering a new room. I recommend being slow around Spinning Blades to get their rhythm and running fast past one to avoid getting hit. Their damage doesn’t one-shot you, but it adds up. You can also bait monsters into them. The same goes for Spike Traps, but you have to be extra careful with a light source in hand to spot one and edge around it in tight rooms. Be careful since they one-shot you. Use them to your advantage to bait monsters into the spikes to kill them.
The last danger you'll face is Insanity, which isn't a monster but an effect that happens when you go too far from your cart. If you stray too far (around 35 meters) into the darkness of the forest away from the cart, your screen will start going black. You'll hear a specific creepy sound effect, and it takes about 10 seconds for Insanity to instantly kill you. Either don't stray too far from the cart, or if you are affected by Insanity start heading back to the light of the cart to end Insanity.
And that’s how to deal with all monsters in Exiled. Stay tuned to Destructoid for more guides, and check out our Exiled codes for free goodies.

]]>GO FISHING is pretty simple, isn't it? You cast your rod, reel in the fish, you catch a rare one, and you sell your haul. Simple, right? WRONG! There is an almost secret mechanic in the game that gives WAY MORE GOLD, and you likely aren't even aware of it.
No, you don't have to spend any real money to activate this, and it's not something you have to unlock. This is just something the game has but doesn't tell you about.
Golden Fish! We're not talking about the Gold Fish you can catch on Default Isle, we're talking about Golden versions of any fish you catch. And before you ask, no, these aren't super rare because you can actually make them yourself!
You can create a Golden Fish by merging five regular fish of the same kind. Simply start fishing at any dock until you catch five of the same fish and open your inventory. You'll see all the fish you've caught. Now select one of the five fish you've caught. You should see two options:
Equip is simply holding the fish in your hand just so you can show off to other players.
Make Gold is what we are looking for. Select this and you're five fish will merge together creating a golden version of the fish.
A Golden fish is worth nine to ten times more than a regular fish. Taking into account that you need five regular fish to create one, this means that you'll almost double your profits by creating and selling Golden Fish.
As you can see from our screenshots above, I've sold a regular Turtle for a 10K (not too bad), but then I sold a Golden Turtle for a whopping 90K. Even if you consider that it took me five turtles to make a Golden one, this is still a huge profit.
The best thing about it is you can do this with ANY FISH, as long as you have five of them, even Legendary ones.
We recommend that, from now on, you only sell Golden Fish to the Fish Trader and actually keep regular fish (so you can use them to create even more Golden ones).
Now go out there and make some gold in GO FISHING. When you make some serious gold, check out our guide on How to get all rare fish in GO FISHING.

]]>If you've gotten into GO FISHING Roblox, then you may be wondering how you can get your hands... hooks... on the rarer fish in the game. In this guide, we'll tell you a bunch of tips that should hopefully help you capture the more elusive fish of GO FISHING.
Currently, there are seven islands in GO FISHING, and each one has two rare fish. Just like all fish in the game, rare ones have their own chance of being caught. You may get extremely lucky and capture one during your first reel, or you may end up fishing for hours. Unfortunately, that's just how the game works.
You'll need the best rod, the right skills, maybe some bait, and lots of patience.
Here's a list of all the rare fish in GO FISHING
Rare fish name | Location | Odds |
Sniper Eel | Default Isle | 1 in 258 |
Blobfish | Default Isle | 1 in 512 |
Whale | Vulcano Isle | 1 in 6,50K |
Monster Fish | Vulcano Isle | 1 in 22,50K |
Blob | Snowy Biome | 1 in 100,00K |
Loch Ness | Snowy Biome | 1 in 250,00K |
Bloneus | Deep Waters | 1 in 950,00K |
El Gran Maja | Deep Waters | 1 in 1.35M |
Mutated Gran Maja | Ancient Ocean | 1 in 3,00M |
White Eater | Ancient Ocean | 1 in 5,00M |
Teeth Monster | High Field | 1 in 2,50M |
Godzilla | High Field | 1 in 5,50M |
Toxic Gran Maja | Toxic Zone | 1 in 15,00M |
Mouth Monster | Toxic Zone | 1 in 30,00M |
Now, some of these odds may look a bit ridiculous, but keep in mind: you always manage to hook in a fish, no matter where you are, and on the final island (Toxic Zone), the odds of capturing the most common fish is 1 in 50,00K; so, really, don't let those numbers scare you.
You'll know you've captured a fish when you see a cool cutscene of you capturing a large fish.
Here's the thing:
Even if you manage to hook one of the rare fish, you still won't be able to reel it if your skill isn't high enough.
So start working on building your GO FISHING skills. You can refer to our Ultimate GO FISHING Roblox Beginner's Guide, but essentially, level up until you are comfortable enough to capture fish on all islands and until you have the best rod money can buy (oh, and you don't actually have to spend any real money for this to work unless you want to support the developers).
The most important skill when it comes to hooking a rare fish is Luck. The more Luck you have, the bigger your chance of hooking a rare fish, but remember, if your skill isn't high enough, it will just escape.
We also recommend you get some bait and potions if you can, but that's entirely up to you. Personally, we didn't have a lot of luck with bait, but many other players have, so the choice is entirely up to you.
You should start fishing for rare fish when you can comfortably fish in the Toxic Zone and you have the best rod in the game (the Light Saber Rod). Until you get to this point, simply level up as you normally would while going from one island to the next, and don't sweat about the rare fish just yet. Don't forget to prioritize leveling up your Fishing Speed and Strength over Luck until you can catch fish without issues.
Once you have the best rod money can buy, you can start buying Luck Potions and Lures. We recommend buying a bunch before you actually start capturing fish.
Only after you have all the equipment can you start going through all the islands and invest all your future skill points into luck. Most of all, have patience. GO FISHING is a game of patience.
That’s it for my GO FISHING Map guide. Stay tuned to Destructoid for more GO FISHING guides and walkthroughs.

]]>If you're a Quincy seeking an ability that will give you the edge against any opponent, you need to unlock Voltstanding. As a Roblox game based heavily on the Bleach anime series, there's a lot to love about Type Soul's progression system, especially with each faction's ultimate abilities.
Those playing Quincy have a special ability that's so powerful it can wipe the floor with anything you come up against. But don't think for a second that it'll be easy to unlock. Here's a complete guide on how to unlock Vollstandig, also known as Voltstanding, in Type Soul.
To get Voltstanding in Type Soul, you must be Elite Grade and then complete a series of requirements. Below are the exact steps you'll take:
The first task, above all else, is reaching Elite Grade. Elite Grade is the best of the best, so you'll need to work extremely hard to get your character to this level before even considering Voltstanding. You first start your Type Soul adventure at Grade 5, with higher grades unlocking as you complete quests. You'll eventually reach Grade 2, prompting you to complete your Schrift quests before eventually making your way to Elite Grade.
SPECIAL OFFER: Earn Money By Playing Games With Pogo
Once you've hit Elite Grade, you need to visit the castle in Wandenreich City and speak to Balance. They're in the room with the blur flooring. Balance will tell you the requirements for unlocking Voltstanding in order. So, once you've completed one challenge, you'll need to return to Balance to get the next one. To keep it simple, I've collected each task below as they unlock.
The first challenge you'll need to do is one of the following:
You should complete the task that's easiest for you. I've seen some players report the Ranked wins as easiest because they're based on skill, but I'm not very skilled in Type Soul, so the Raids were easiest for me. These run every 30 minutes in-game, so look for a server that's either on the hour or half hour and try to join because they're the most likely to have a raid for you to enter and win.
You could also look for a dedicated Type Soul Discord server to join. These have moderators who can force Raids to start, making them a great way to grind these out for progression.
Aside from this, you're free to take part in dozens of 1v1s or 2v2s and farm wins to complete this challenge, or take part in raids if that's more fun to you. You can even do a mix of both, as long as you reach a total of 13 Raid Win.
If you lose track of how many Raid Wins you're at, you can visit the Unrivaled Unequaled NPC in the Karakura Town warehouse.
The second challenge you'll need to complete to get Voltstanding is to complete all of the following without dying:
The hardest part of this task is gripping 10 Elites, but you can just find someone from another faction and grip them 10 times to complete that part. The one point to note here is that if you die in the middle of completing any of these, you'll reset your progress and must kill all the enemies again.
With that in mind, aim for the toughest enemies first so you don't need to repeat them too often if you fail. Gripping Elites is the easiest part of this challenge, and by focusing on the much larger enemies, you can set yourself up well for an easy finish.
Another challenging part of this task is killing a World Boss. Bawabawa spawns in Hueco Mundo, while Jidanbo appears in the Soul Society. Defeating World Bosses is pretty intense but just as doable as killing 50 Hollows. If you're already familiar with fighting these guys, though, you shouldn't have too much trouble here. I'd recommend doing this first before killing 50 Hollows and getting your 10 Elite Grips, but the order will depend on your preference and how easily you can do the other tasks.
After completing the first two tasks, return to Balance at the top of Wandenreich Castle. This will unlock the Quincy Voltstanding minigame. This will teleport you to a new area where arrows fall from the sky for around a minute and 30 seconds.
If you fail this at any point, you'll have to wait an hour or grip two additional Elite Grades. While waiting an hour isn't too bad, knocking this out from the get-go will make your life easier. Focus on dodging each projectile to have Yhwach the Quincy King spawn in to grant you Voltstanding.

]]>GO FISHING is still very much in development but it has still has places you need to go. For your convenience we've sketched a rough map depicting each location currently in the game as well as locations of key NPC characters. We'll go through each location and tell you a bit about them.
We will keep updating this map as more content rolls out, but for now, it should give you a rough view of where everything is.
This is your starting zone and, likely, the only zone where you'll fish without using the Autofishing feature. Here, you can catch relatively smaller fish like crabs, octopi, starfish, and the like. There are also two NPCs, the Pirate and the Ninja, and each of them has a Quest for you. After you buy a raft, you can move on to the next island.
You'll notice right away Volcano Isle is much larger than Default Isle. Other than your standard vendors, which you find on all other islands, there is a Rich Man NPC (his quest will probably get added soon) and an ??? (that's his name), who does have a pretty cool quest. There is another NPC high up on a cliff, Homeless, which is still inaccessible.
The fish you catch on this Isle is likely going to be enough to get you to your fifth or even sixth rod. These include sharks, Sturgeons, Squids, and even a Monster Fish.
This snow-covered Isle is home to a somewhat difficult quest and plenty of non-traditional fish. Other than Red Salmon and Sword Fish, you can also catch Orcas, Axolotls, Seals, or even the Loch Ness monster (we didn't realize it lives in the ocean, but oh well!).
On the back of the Island, there is a narrow bridge that leads you to an iceberg, which is home to the Eskimo NPC, who has a rather difficult quest.
Another huge island with a lot of potential but still very much in development. There is a cave with a miner and a bunch of workers. The Miner gives you probably the easiest quest in the game, which you can finish in minutes.
Otherwise, enjoy catching Manta Rays, Bloneuses, and the El Gran Maja.
From this point on, there isn't much point in exploring the rest of the islands as they are still in development. The Ancient Ocean is the first one without a single NPC, not counting the vendors. There are some ancient Roman structures (including the Coliseum) but no NPCs to give you quests.
Fish your way to your next upgrade by catching Krakens, Red Dragons, and Skeleton Fish, and move on to the next aisle.
It is a unique zone made up of six large pillars. You can only climb up the first three of them, but, as you can probably guess, there aren't any NPCs here. Just Blue, Yellow, and Pink Jellyfish. Oh, and you can also catch a Godzilla here (So, that's where he's been hiding!).
Last but not least, the Toxic Zone is home to lots of nuclear waste, leftover containers, two smoking exhaust chimneys, and end-game fish. Ranging from Toxic Fish all the way to Mouth Monsters, this Isle is the perfect time to use your Potions and rare bait you've been saving (You have been saving them, right?).

Most of the traits in the above list will benefit your units in Anime Realms in one way or another. If you only want to spend a few rolls, try to aim for Sniper, Adept (if you want to dump feed that unit), Godspeed, or any of the higher-tier Rare traits. Mythic tier traits are diverse, so if you want to know which ones suit specific units, check out our Anime Realms tier list for more details.
You can reroll the trait of your unit at the Traits NPC next to the Evolve chamber. It costs one Star Remnant or one Reroll token to reroll a trait of a Rare, Epic, or Legendary unit. For Mythic and Secret tier units, every reroll uses five Star Remnants or one Reroll Token.
When rerolling a Mythic trait, you will have to confirm your decision, so don't worry about accidentally rerolling a very rare trait.
You can get Star Remnants from summoning units, codes, daily challenges, tournaments, and Tower of God. Reroll tokens are much rarer, and you can acquire them mostly from codes and daily challenges, but you can also buy them from the traits menu for Robux.
There is also a low chance that you get a unit with a random trait when summoning on banners, so you might save a few Star Remnants if you get a good unit with a decent trait.
I do not recommend rerolling traits on Rare and Epic units, except for farm units, on which you will want to get Golden. Reroll traits on your Legendary units only a few times (2-5) unless they are super useful, in which case, spend as many as you can afford. Use all of your Reroll Tokens and most of your Star Remnants to reroll traits on Mythic and Secret tier units because they are your best units.
That's it for our Anime Realms traits guide. I hope the above information helps you properly max out your favorite units. If you want to claim some freebies that can help you roll for more units, check out our Anime Realms codes.

The post Anime Reborn Units Tier List [UPDATE 2] (December 2024) appeared first on Destructoid.
]]>Anime Realms has a lot of solid meta Mythic-tier units. However, some units are even more powerful than them, and those are the Secret ones. Compared to other units that you summon on banners, there is no clear answer in-game on how to obtain Secret units. With that in mind, we prepared the following Anime Realms Secret Units guide.
You can get Brulo, one of the strongest DPS units in the game, by rolling on any banner in the game after you reach player level 20. The chances of getting him are extremely low, so I recommend you just hope you get lucky when rolling on the regular banners.
However, if you really want to get him and you have resources to spare, then maximize your odds of obtaining him by doing the following:
You can acquire Shadow by summoning units on the regular banner after you reach level 20. Even though you can't see his summon chances, they are slightly lower compared to the drop rate of Mythic units. This makes him much easier to get than Brulo. If you want to target him on one of the banners, then follow the same steps as the ones for summoning Brulo.
Shadow has excellent DPS, slightly higher than most Mythic units. However, he deals True damage that essentially ignores resistances that enemies might have in specific game modes. When fully upgraded, he has full AoE attacks and an excellent range to boot.
To evolve Shadow, besides the elemental stones and the 10K kill requirement, you will need the Sword of the Shadows. To get the sword, you have to sacrifice an evolved Mythic unit by talking to the Shadow NPC that is left of the Leaderboards area.
Lao is a very powerful DPS unit with stun, and you can get him by doing Secret-tier Marine's Ford portals. If you host the portal that you dropped, you are guaranteed to get Lao. If you are joining someone else's Secret Marine's Ford portal, then you have a 5% chance of getting him.
When you complete the Mythic-tier Marine's Ford portal, there is a very low chance you will get the Secret version of it as a reward. You can obtain the regular Marine's Ford portals while doing the Marine's Ford Infinite mode.
You can find all of your portals in your inventory under the Portals tab. Each portal has a modifier that boosts the damage of a specific type. Mythic-tier portals are difficult, but you will acquire a lot of them, so you can just place and run them on public servers. Keep in mind that the portals you put are only used once you start them, so it's safe to cancel them for whatever reason.
The Secret-tier Marine's Ford portals, on the other hand, are extremely difficult. So, to avoid wasting them, gather a group of people who have good, upgraded meta units. If you want to find more people for this challenge, create a free private server on the Anime Realms Roblox page and post the link to it in the #marineford-portal channel on the official Anime Realms Discord server.
And that's it for our Anime Realms Secret Units guide. If you want to know more about the strongest units in this Roblox experience, then check out our Anime Realms tier list.
The post All Secret Units in Anime Realms & How to Get Them [UPD 0.5] (December 2024) appeared first on Destructoid.
]]>With so many Legendary, Mythic, and Secret tier units, Anime Realms is one of the biggest AA clones to date. Get ahead of everyone else by rolling only for the best units with the help of our definitive Anime Realms tier list below.
The Anime Realms story tier list above is viable for other non-infinite content as well, such as portals. We ranked units based on the impact they can have with the limited amount of Yen you will get in these game modes.
Infinite modes are very different. Bring Speedcart, and you will have enough Yen to survive the early waves with ease and eventually upgrade all units. With that in mind, we ranked the units in the Anime Realms tier list for infinite modes based on their strength when fully upgraded.
Because you get so many Gems by grinding the Infinite modes, try to roll for units such as Goku, Enol, and Aizen at the beginning. They are equally strong for the story, which makes them ideal to aim for in the early game. If you do manage to get one of them, you will have a much easier time grinding for other mythic units afterward.

The above Anime Realms tier lists differ from each other, so we decided to separate units by rarity. You get most units by rolling on the banners that rotate in the game. Though, there are a few exceptions. You get Yuno as a reward from tournaments, and you can obtain secret units in specific ways detailed in our Anime Realms Secret units guide.
Recommended traits depend on how worth it is to spend your Star Remnants and Reroll Tokens on some units. As you shouldn't be rerolling traits of Epic and Rare units anyway, the recommended traits for Epic and Rare units are less rare. You can find a detailed list of all traits and their effects in our Anime Realms traits list.
Unless you redeemed our Anime Realms codes, you will have very little gems to spend on new units. Back that up with only 4 unit slots you get at the start, and you will quickly wonder who to bring with you when the choice is so limited. With that in mind, these are the units that are most useful at the start:
To summon units in Anime Realms, click on the Summon button on the left side of your screen or go to the Summon area and enter the zone inside of it. In the menu that pops up, you can see:
There are two banner tiers: at level 5, you unlock shiny units, and at level 20, you unlock Secret tier units on banners. Each banner has its pity counter that lets you get at least a Legendary unit every 50 pulls. Mythic pity, even though hidden, guarantees you get a Mythic-tier unit every 400 summons. Neither of these two pities reset if you get a Legendary or a Mythic before hitting the pity.
Because you will be rolling for a lot of units even at the start, your unit inventory will eventually become full. Open up the units menu (K), and either sell or fuse the units you don't need. You can also go to the battlepass shop and expand your unit inventory by paying Robux.
I hope the RNG is on your side when rolling for the best units. If you want to bring out their full power with some powerful traits, then check out our Anime Realms trait list.

]]>If you're tired of playing Fisch or just want to try out other Roblox Fishing games, GO FISHING is a pretty good pick. After spending a good while with the game, we've come up with a easy-to-follow guide which will help you go from just starting out all the way to a top tier player.
If you're coming from Fisch, something you'll realize right away is that GO FISHING is much simpler to play. All you really need to do is equip a rod (press "1" and you're avatar will equip it/unequip it) and hold the left-click to cast a line.
The longer you hold a line, the more you'll build up the casting bar. Always try to go for super casting, but even if you aren't great at it, don't worry because it won't really matter once you get to the second island.
As for the settings, the game doesn't really have much to speak of. What you see is what you get. There is a leaderboard, a party system, an emoji system and even several buttons on the main screen you can use to access the shop, we'll look at the shop later too.
At first glance, the fishing minigame seems like you'll be clicking/tapping on your screen, but in reality, you won't have to do anything other than cast a line.
There are three parts to the fishing minigame:
When you cast a line, you'll see little targets appear all over your screen. You need to click on enough of them to move to the next mini-game, where you actually reel the fish in. Don't worry too much about playing this one accurately because even if you miss, you can't actually fail the target mini-game.
When you see the blue and green Reel bar appear on the right side of the screen, that is where you need to pay attention. Here, you need to click as fast as you can so you can reel the fish in. While at first, this will seem simple, later, you'll need more Fishing Speed, Strength, and a better rod to win this part of the minigame.
After this bit, you'll have caught the fish. It will automatically get added to your inventory so no need to walk or click on it to collect it.
You'll have three types of items in your inventory:
Fish is... well... the fish you catch. You can keep it there, but most of the time, you'll just sell the entire haul at a local shop.
Rods will show all the rods you currently have. You probably won't need to swap rods often because after you buy a new one, it automatically gets equipped, and there's not much point in going back to a lower (weaker) rod.
Bait is definitely something you should not spend money on until you get to the endgame. Why? Because, unlike your regular hook, bait is consumable. You'll eat through your bait in a matter of seconds, and the money you save on it can be used to make better rods.
Just like bait, Potions are also finite. We strongly recommend you hold off on buying these until you get to the last island.
As for Boats, you really only need the most basic raft to get anywhere in the world, but if you have money to spare, go for it.
Premium items range from casting a double the bait with each throw, getting a random high-ranking rod at the gacha, selling stuff everywhere, more inventory space, and various other QoL items. None of these are necessary unless you want to support the game.
To progress in GO FISHING, you need to go from one island to another, fish up a couple of fish, maybe complete a quest or two, and move on to the next island. That's about it.
While nothing is stopping you from going straight to Toxic Island as soon as you get your first raft, you won't be able to reel any fish in because you'll lack Fishing Speed and Strength. Speaking of those, those are the three attributes you can improve in this game:
Essentially, you need to build up your Fishing Speed and Strength a few levels on each island you visit and then move on to the next one. As for Luck, you should definitely put some points into it, but we advise you to prioritize Strength and Fishing Speed over it.
Of course, you also need to upgrade your rod too. After you catch enough fish, visit the local Fish Trader (there is usually a sign above his show that says "SELL") and sell all your fish. Make sure you don't sell the fish you need to finish your quests.
Each island you visit in GO FISHING usually has one or two quests. Generally, you should try and finish each of these before moving on to the next island, but if you can't, it's no biggie (you can always go back and finish them later).
The reason for this is that most quests need you to fish out a specific fish or several heavy fish. You can simply accept these quests, move on to the next island, and come back and hand them in when you capture the specific fish.
Once you get to Volcano Island (the first island you should visit after getting a boat or a raft), you'll unlock Autofishing. Before you ask, NO, this is not a premium feature, you can use it as much as you want, no restrictions.
Autofishing turns GO FISHING into an idle game. Not only will this automatically cast your line (Super cast it as well), but it will also hit all the targets for you and automatically click the Reel bar. Whenever you get to a new island, try Autofishing, see if it works without a problem, and you can just leave it like that for a while.
When it comes to rod progression, you are advised to buy them in the order they are listed in the shop, from the least expensive to the most expensive.
However, we bought every other one (we skipped one each time we upgraded). The jump from a bone rod to a Trident Rod doesn't feel as great as a jump from a Bone Rod to a Dead Rod. Of course, you can just buy them in order, but keep in mind you can't trade in your old rod, and you'll end up spending a lot more time farming for money.
There are also super-rare rods you can get by opening Chests (loot boxes) but they aren't required to progress.
Don't worry, your boats aren't stored in your inventory, they are stored at the Ship Dealer. Talk to him, select the boat you bought, and it should say Spawn. Whenever you can't find your boat, simply talk to the Ship Dealer again and it will spawn your boat for you.
Fishing Speed and Strength. Make sure these two are on the same level. You should also add points to your luck, but it's not as important as fishing speed and strength.
No, you really don't. The first raft is all you need to visit every island in the game. Just know that it will be very slow.
No, you don't. We managed to get to the Toxic Zone (currently the last island) without ever spending a dime. On the other hand, if you like the game and want to support it, buying stuff from the Shop is a nice gesture to the developers.

]]>Styles in Blue Lock Rivals are similar to weapons or skills in some other Blue Lock-inspired Roblox titles. They give you several very powerful skills that let you create chances from nothing and finish from seemingly impossible angles. Check out which ones are the best in the Blue Lock Rivals style tier list below.
Tier | Styles |
---|---|
S | Shidou, Nagi |
A | King, Bachira, Isagi, Gagamaru |
B | Chigiri |
Nagi and Shidou are the best styles on the attack in Blue Lock Rivals. Nagi's mid-air trap is just OP because you can't steal the ball away from him while he is doing it. Shidou's whole kit is very powerful, but it relies on air shots, so to really utilize it properly, you will need a reliable partner to feed you the air balls.
King is also attacking-oriented because of his long-shot potential, but he has enough mobility that can be useful on defense as well. However, for defense, Bachira takes the cake because of its steal skill and the nutmeg move that lets you get the ball out of defense and start counter-attacks. Gagamaru is made for GKs with a kit that is all about blocking shots in a flashy way.
Isagi and Chigiri are decent on both ends but not amazing. Isagi is slightly better because of the direct shot that lets you finish more consistently and the lob pass skill, which is excellent for moving the ball over long distances very quickly.
Style | Skills | Tier |
---|---|---|
Nagi | C - Traps you mid-air with or without the ball. V - You dash out of a mid-air trap in any direction. It can be used only after C. B - Volley feint that leads into another powerful volley. |
S |
Shidou | C - You bounce the ball up and do a drive shot in the direction you are facing. V - You bounce the ball up, jump to it, and do a powerful header in the direction you are facing. B - You flick the ball up into the air and do a powerful bicycle kick. |
S |
Gagamaru | C - You scorpion kick the ball in the opposite direction. It can be used to block shots. V - If you are in your 18-yard box, you gain a massive speed boost and a lower dive cooldown for 10 seconds. If you are outside of the box, you do a diving header forward, kicking the ball in the opposite direction. It can't be used in mid-air. B - You do a handstand and block the incoming shot. |
A |
King | C - You shoot a high-arching volley. It is best used from outside the box. V - You gain a burst of speed and sprint forward. The move has an end lag, and you can only slightly alter your sprint direction. B - An improved version of the V skill that lets you constantly change direction while also having no end lag. |
A |
Bachira | C - You dash a short distance forward and steal the ball. V - You nutmeg an opponent, pushing the ball far forward behind them. You also get a short burst of speed. B - You do a bunch of stepovers and dash through an opponent along with the ball. |
A |
Isagi | C - You bounce the ball and shoot out a powerful volley. V - A direct lob pass to any of your teammates. B - It gives you meta vision, which lets you see the status of other players and where the ball is going. |
A |
Chigiri | C - Greatly increases your speed with and without the ball. V - Fully restores your stamina bar and prevents it from being depleted for a short amount of time. B - A short dash forward that can be used three times. |
B |
You can use your awakening once it spawns on you during the match, but keep in mind that this can take a while. When you are able to awaken, which will be indicated to you on the screen, get a hold of the ball and press the G button. While awakened, you can use your B skill once before it runs out.
Click on the styles button while in the lobby to enter the styles menu where you can reroll your style. Each reroll costs you one spin if you got some through codes or daily quests, or 2500 cash.
You can also store your styles, but you have to unlock style storage slots, which cost Robux. I don't recommend purchasing them until at least more styles get added to Blue Lock Rivals.
I hope the above info lets you dominate the field in Blue Lock Rivals. If you want to find the correct flow to go along with your style, then feel free to check out our Blue Lock Rivals flow tier list.

]]>Grace is the hot new Roblox game where players have to speed through a number of dungeons without getting caught and mauled by the different entities residing within each. Grace gives players hints before it puts them against each vile entity, but these might not be all that easy to understand. Grace is fun, but it can prove a frustrating trial-and-error type of game — provided you don't know what to do. Let's diminish its potential to cause players to smash their keyboards, shall we?
Carnation is impossible to outrun, as it hits most of the dungeon area in waves. The only way to avoid being killed by Carnation is to run through the dungeon's rooms while it's inactive and look for square holes on the sides of the map to crawl under.
Once you've found yourself inside one of these spots, wait for Carnation to pass by. When he's doing the rounds, you'll hear a constant noise and your screen will be filled with pink flames. You know you're safe to resume running to the next crawl space once the flames have faded.
Slight is easy to understand and beat. You just have to avoid looking at it while it's in the same room as you. You usually get to have a good look at his position before you enter the dungeon's rooms, so enter with Slight's position in mind, and cross the room without ever letting it enter your field of view.
The good news about Slugfish is that it doesn't seem very concerned with you. The bad news is that it will kill you as hard as any other entity would should you not get the hint. Slugfish behaves like a huge bullet that travels through the map in waves. Unlike Carnation, which forces players to hide in a crawlspace, Slugfish just requires players to avoid being in the dungeon's center corridor. Hug the walls as soon as you hear him coming (you'll immediately understand what sound I'm talking about), and you should be fine.
Elkman acts like a very laggy security camera. Run through the dungeon until you find Elkman. He'll notice you and static will start taking over the screen. Staying where Elkman can see you for too long will result in death, so run back and find a place where you're out of his line of sight to hide.
The static will go away shortly after, and so will Elkman. He will move to the next room, so rinse and repeat until you're in the next dungeon.
Heed is the exact opposite of Slight. Whereas looking at Slight when sharing a room with it would cause you to die, Heed requires you to look at it. The process is simple, though. Just enter the room with heed locked at the center of your line of sight, then proceed without ever averting your gaze until you enter the next room.
Sorrow's hint is as clear as it is bleak. From time to time, sorrow will drop something pretty lethal from above. Run through the map, but, as soon as you hear him moving, you'll need to find a place with a hard roof to get under. The crawl spaces that worked against carnation will work here as well, and so will the door frames.
Dozer is possibly the easiest entity to deal with in Grace. Run through the map, then, once you see his smiling face popping up on your screen, just crouch and stop moving until he disappears. It's very important that you're in the crouching position until he vanishes.
There are no hints regarding Goatman. If you see him, it's already too late - literally - you gotta beat the game in time to prevent him from spawning.
There's another way to have Goatman spawn, but it's story-related so we're not about to spoil that for you.
Genesis is, somehow, not your enemy. He's likely the entity responsible for reviving players upon death, so you avoid it by, well, not getting killed by any of the previously mentioned entities.
You can now play Grace via Roblox on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Mac OS, Occulus Quest, and Meta Quest VR.

]]>Don't let the name fool you, Grace in Roblox is a very challenging title, especially if you're going down the completionist route. The game features a bunch of enemies that will all kill you at the first mistake you make, and it also features various achievements that it gives players no clues about. Let's learn how to achieve everything there is to achieve in Grace, shall we?
As the name suggests, the only thing you need to get this badge is to begin the game and spawn in. All Grace players get this badge automatically just for playing.
Another very easy-to-earn badge, as it just requires players to die once and accept help from a mysterious eye-like being.
To get this badge, players need to survive their first encounter with the Carnation, the enemy that requires players to slide into and hide in a crawlspace.
This badge requires players to perform a slide maneuver and hold on to it until it is unlocked.
Players will need to survive Heed for this badge, which is the entity you must never look away from when progressing through a room it inhabits.
You will need to survive your first encounter with Slugfish, the giant bullet-like enemy that travels to the center corridor of the map. Hug the walls and you should get it!
You will need to survive your first encounter with Slight, the entity that you cannot make eye contact with.
You will need to survive your first encounter with Dozer, the entity that requires you to crouch and stop moving.
To get this badge you have to survive your first encounter with Sorrow, the entity that will kill you with deadly rain if you don't hide underneath a crawlspace or a doorframe.
You will need to survive your first encounter with Elkman, an entity that works like a security camera of sorts. Once it sees players, they'll have a short amount of time to run away and hide outside of its field of view to make it go away.
To get this badge you need to ignore the advice that I just gave you and rush towards the Elkman to get in touch with its hitbox before you die from having him stare at you for too long.
This is a silly one, as it requires players to look at Grace's warning screen until they unlock the badge. It will likely take a little over a minute to unlock this one.
This badge is the exact opposite of the previous one and requires players to close the warning screen as soon as they can after it shows up. Do it in under one second and you're sure to get it.
This badge requires players to go to the menu and set their FOV (field of view) to the unplayable setting of -60.
To get this badge, players will have to escape the GOAT MAN, the entity that goes after players once the timer hits 0.
This badge also involves the GOAT MAN, but getting it requires you to hit it with the beam from your flashlight.
Another flashlight-related badge. To get this one, you don't have to attack a monster, but you'll need to spin your flashlight until it unlocks. It shouldn't take much longer than one minute.
For one of the most challenging badges in the game, players will have to complete two timers in under two minutes and thirty seconds.
You can now dominate Grace on Roblox via PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Mac OS, and in VR via Quest.

]]>Beast Games is a popular show on Prime to watch, but what if you could also join but from the comfort of your own home? Mr Beast is coming to Roblox with Beast Games, and here is everything we knowso far.
Officially, the Beast Games will start on Roblox on Roblox on December 19, 2024 at 9 AM PT or 6 PM CET. However, the game is already open and you can go inside and explore. Follow the link below to play the game before the official start.
If you go into the Beast Games before the official start on December 19, you will get the Hype Beast badge. This badge signifies that you enter the game during early access and that you will get Beast Bucks once the games start based on your time spent in the game.
Considering that the game is in early access, there isn't much you can do inside. All of the challenges are closed or under construction at the moment. You can go around and talk to the NPCs standing in front of the games and get some funny interactions like '''We forgot how to play chess''. Don't worry, Chess NPC, I also regularly forget how to play it.
To pass the time, you can also jump around the many trampolines placed around the area and glide. You can get inside the manor this way if you want to explore it, but again, there is nothing really to do other than laugh at the guy stuck in the balloons.
The tower above the Beast Games portal seems to have become the unofficial hangout spot for those in early access who want to farm as much money as possible before it starts. Use the trampolines to reach the top, then just hang out.
You can chat with the other players, or just go AFK. That was the option I went for. If you do the same, just make sure to move every once in a while or do an emote so that Roblox doesn't kick you out.
However, once the Beast Games start, you will be able to compete against others, earn money through challenges which change every week, buy vehicles, pets and much more at the shop.

]]>There are plenty of One Piece inspired games on Roblox like Blox Fruits, Fruit Battleground and more. However, now we also have the One Piece licensed game on Roblox, and if you're wondering how to play it, check it out below.
You can play the official One Piece Roblox game through the Roblox platform on PC, mobile, PS4 and PS5.
As with other Roblox experiences, the official One Piece Roblox game has its own One Piece Grand Arena Discord server. This is the place where you can keep track of all updates as well as check out sneak peeks posted by the developers.
The best reason as to why you should join the Discord is the fact that you can chat with other players, discuss best skills, ask questions that confuse you and brag about your conquests and amazing bounty as you level it up.
One Piece Grand Arena is a Roblox battle royale game where you will fight against up to 20 players to increase your bounty. Your goal is to get the same bounty as the King of the Pirates Gold Rogers, which you can accomplish by defeating other players or by opening chests on different stages.
The game has plenty of Stages which you can fight on, including Drum Island, Alabasta, Sky Island and more. The Skills allow you to transform into various One Piece characters like Luffy, Zoro, Mihawk, Robin and more, and use their powers to take out the enemies.
Completing missions gets you Diamonds which you then use to pull on the Gasha machine next to Franky while in the Lobby of the game. By pulling, you will get more Skills to choose from in order to improve your gameplay, battle strategy and become the Pirate King.
If any of your favorite characters and even locations are missing, don't worry. There are plenty of opportunities for them to be added with future updates.
For those who want to play other One Piece Roblox games, check out our Blox Fruits and Fruit Battleground sections right here on Destructoid.

Crafting recipes in Fisch is really counterintuitive. Right now, it's easier to get the crafting ingredients for a rod with the level 750 requirement than it is for the ones with no requirement at all. So, to help you out, we compiled a list of all the crafting resources you'll need and how to get them in the most efficient way:
Resource | How to Get | Needed For Crafting |
---|---|---|
Moonstone | • The only way to get Gemstones (Moonstone, Lapis Lazuli, Ruby, Amethyst, and Opal) is from Meteors. • Go to Ancient Isle meteor fall point (5700, 165, 625) and spam Sundial Totems to spawn meteors and loot them. • You can also spam Meteor Totems, though it's more cost-effective to do it with Sundials. • The whole server can loot the Meteor once it falls, making it really worth doing in a group. • The loot from the Meteor is the same for everyone on the server. |
• Celestial Rod (3x) |
Lapis Lazuli | • The Lost Rod (3x) | |
Ruby | • Wisdom Rod (1x) • Riptide Rod (3x) |
|
Amethyst | • Precision Rod (1x) • Resourceful Rod (3x) |
|
Opal | • Seasons Rod (2x) • Voyager Rod (3x) |
|
Lunar Driftwood | • The best method to get it is to appraise regular Driftwood during Mutation Surge. • Get regular Driftwood by fishing with Crab Cages in freshwater areas (Moosewood Pond, Mushgrove Pond, etc.) • You can fish the Mythical Driftwood out with the Mythical Rod in areas with very bad loot tables (Moosewood, Mushgrove, etc.) • Doesn't get consumed during crafting. |
• Resourceful Rod (2x) |
Frozen Driftwood | • Seasons Rod (3x) | |
Mythical Driftwood | • Precision Rod (2x) • Wisdom Rod (2x) |
|
Atlantean Driftwood | • The only way to get Atlantean Driftwood is to fish it out with the Trident Rod in areas with very bad loot tables (Moosewood, Mushgrove, etc.) • Doesn't get consumed during crafting. |
• Riptide Rod (3x) |
Void Wood | • You can fish out Void Wood at the Keeper's Altar. | • Voyager Rod (3x) |
Ancient Wood | • You can fish out Ancient Wood anywhere in the Sunstone Island area. | • The Lost Rod (3x) |
Moon Wood | • You can fish out Moon Wood anywhere in the Snowcap Island area. | • Celestial Rod (3x) |
Inferno Wood | • You can fish out Inferno Wood in the Roslit Volcano. | • Rod of the Eternal King (3x) |
Magic Thread | • Magic Thread, Ancient Thread, and Lunar Thread can be caught randomly together with another fish. • Magic Thread is common, Ancient Thread is rare, and Lunar Thread is very rare. • You can also get them from Treasure Maps with a relatively high chance. |
• Precision Rod (1x) • Wisdom Rod (1x) • Resourceful Rod (1x) • Seasons Rod (1x) • Riptide Rod (1x) |
Ancient Thread | • The Lost Rod (1x) • Celestial Rod (1x) |
|
Lunar Thread | • Rod of the Eternal King (1x) • Rod of the Forgotten Fang (1x) |
|
Golden Sea Pearl | • You can get a Golden Sea Pearl with a very low chance while catching Clams behind Roslit Bay (-2020, 130, 560). • Luck and other boosts don't affect the Golden Sea Pearl drop chance (it's always 0.16%) |
• Rod of the Eternal King (2x) |
Meg's Spine | • Both Meg's Spine and Meg's Fang are part of the Ancient Isle bestiary and can be fished out anywhere in that area. • They have no preferred bait, weather, or anything. |
• Rod of the Forgotten Fang (2x) |
Meg's Fang | • Rod of the Forgotten Fang (2x) |
In general, the only two rods worth crafting in Fisch are the Rod of the Forgotten Fang and the Rod of the Eternal King. All other craftable rods are borderline irrelevant and outclassed by the rods you can just buy, namely the Trident Rod and the Rod of the Depths.
Of course, if you are a completionist, do try to craft every rod that you can. However, know that the developers might change the recipes in the future, especially those that require extravagant trash items, such as Atlantean Driftwood and Mythical Driftwood.
Anyway, that wraps our guide to crafting in the Fisch Roblox experience. For more helpful guides, including our rod tier list, visit the Fisch hub here on Destructoid.

]]>The Mosasaurus is certainly one of the largest catches you can get in Fisch, but finding it and then catching it can be a really difficult task.
This particular fish (or, rather, a prehistoric creature) isn't really suited for those who are just getting started. Added as part of the latest update, it has become a great choice for players with a decent amount of experience and equipment. Let's take a look at where you can spot this Jurassic-era giant and how to proceed with your task.
This behemoth can be found in the saltwater regions of Ancient Isle, and it's exclusive to this spot. Like the creature in the discussion, this spot has also been added as part of the recent update. The spawn location is completely random, but there are a few steps you can take to ease the task at hand.
You'll want to wait till it's night, and foggy weather is reportedly the best condition. As per one of my colleagues who helped me with finding the place, you'll want to be at the waterfall region, located on the western side. This specific spot, in general, is home to several Mythical creatures, so it makes complete sense for you to fish here.
Reeling in the Mosasaurus is no mean feat in Fisch, as it's not your ordinary fish. The creature applies a negative buff once hooked, which reduces the reeling speed by 75%. This is a huge disadvantage as your reeling time extends a lot. Then, it constantly moves, and you'll have to adjust accordingly.
Ultimately, there's no secret to catching this beast, and it's all about your persistence. The only factors yu can control are the weather and equipment, and we will discuss it more in the next section.
Let's first begin with the rod, as that's going to be your most important equipment. Without the right choice, you'll never be able to reel in the Mosasaurus.
For bait, you can use the common Worm, but using the Truffle Worm is recommended. It depends on your patience and budget. I said earlier that you can control the weather - you'll want to grab the Smokescreen Totem (found at Mushgrove Swamp). This token is not necessary, but it would help to turn the weather in your favor. You can also go for the Sundial Totem as well if you don't want to wait for the sun to go down.
My favorite enchantments for this catch will be Steady (helps to maintain your progress), Resilient (raises your Resilience), and Quality (for its all-round boosts). If you're using the Truffle Worm, Scrapper is also a good choice, as there's a 60% chance that your bait won't be consumed.
That's pretty much all you have to do to catch a Mosasaurus in Fisch. With an average weight of 9,000 KG, the creature offers 3,000 XP per catch and has a credit multiplier of (0.5357C$). While catching one will require a lot of effort, the rewards are certainly interesting and valuable.

]]>In Fazbear World TD, you have to wait for specific banners to roll for specific units. I’ll show you which units are the best so that you know when to roll with Fazbucks and when to wait for the next banner. Here’s my Fazbear World Tower Defense unit tier list.
I’ve rated Fazbear World TD units from S-Tier to D-Tier. S-Tier and A-Tier units are usually must-haves that I highly recommend you roll for if you see them in a banner. B-tier units fill certain roles quite well and are decent alternatives for specific scenarios, but they're not as flexible as higher tiers. Lastly, C-Tier and D-Tier units are leftovers that you usually want to replace (with some exceptions) as they’re objectively less powerful than the higher ones. Check out my ranking explanations below.
Shadow Freddy (Mythic) | Shadow Freddy deals the most AOE damage in the game so this is your must-have for damage. |
Marionette (Mythic) | Marionette competes with Shadow Freddy for the most DPS you can get from a single unit not counting buffing units. Either SF or Marionette is a must-have for the hardest levels. |
RWQFSFASXC (Mythic) | The most powerful buffing unit in the game for all categories, whether it’s damage, cooldown, or range. On average, RWQFSFASXC will deal the most damage in the game through boosting. |
Springbonnie (Legendary) | Springbonnie is a beast of a Legendary that can slightly compete with Mythics due to her high damage and constant AOE stuns. |
Fredbear (Legendary) | Just a reliable source of AOE damage and Affliction that you can’t go wrong with, and Fredbear is a great starter Legendary. |
Nightmare Freddy (Legendary) | One of the best single-target Legendary units in the game with incredible DPS, Affliction damage, and summons. He just needs some gold to get started. |
Springtrap (Legendary) | With the rework Springtrap feels much better now and deals excellent AOE Affliction damage once upgraded. |
Nightmare (Legendary) | With some decent nerfs, Nightmare isn’t as good anymore. That said he’s still a better Legendary than BB and Helpy and with a Chica/Plush boost he can cook. |
Plushtrap (Epic) | One of the best support units in the game since that boost is a must-have if you don't have RWQFSFASXC. |
Withered Bonnie (Epic) | The best Epic unit in the game in addition to Plushtrap. |
BB (Legendary) | BB outranks all Epics in terms of stats but he’s just less reliable with those balloons than the other Legendaries. I wouldn’t recommend using him if you have literally any other Leggy unit because balloons can sometimes behave awkwardly and miss enemies if they’re not properly grouped up. Not to mention it sucks when they hit just a single unit. |
Nightmare Foxy (Epic) | One of the best starters in the game due to its excellent cost-to-effectiveness ratio. |
Withered Chica (Epic) | Overall, a decently strong buffing alternative to Withered Bonnie. |
Toy Freddy (Epic) | Toy Freddy takes a while to get going as you need his higher levels to be viable but he can cook once you get him leveled up. |
Toy Chica (Rare) | Chica is an incredible support unit that’s useful in end-game builds despite being a Rare. |
Helpy (Legendary) | While Helpy has received some decent nerfs, he’s still an okay coin-farming unit, and that’s a decent unit to have. Just because you’re not Insta-winning like before doesn’t mean Helpy is trash. He can get you an extra upgrade or unit when you really need it by just leaving him in the background. Just don’t start with Helpy. |
Endo 02 (Uncommon) | Honestly, Endo 02 is a great starter/money-farming unit that many are sleeping on. |
JJ (Epic) | With some great damage buffs, Withered Freddy is sitting pretty in C-Tier as a reliable Rare starter. |
Withered Freddy (Rare) | It's not the flashiest unit, but it has reliable DPS for a Rare and is good at making early cash. |
Nightmare Chica (Rare) | For a Rare, Nightmare Chica is a beast. She used to be better than Springtrap before he got his buffs. |
Toy Bonnie (Rare) | Now, it's a rare unit with some buffs worthy of upper C-Tier. |
Toy Foxy (Rare) | The incarnation of mid has nothing to write home about, but it has enough DPS to be better than Uncommons. I would switch it out for better units once you have them. |
Bonnie (Rare) | If we’re talking Commons, the Phantom Mangle is the most common in the game and able to compete with some Uncommons, too. |
Foxy (Uncommon) | A pretty good Uncommon starter that’s worth C-Tier. |
Phantom Mangle (Common) | If we’re talking Commons, the Phantom Mangle is the best common in the game able to compete with some Uncommons too. |
Phantom Chica (Common) | A booster unit is on average, better than the others if you can get value out of Phantom Chica. |
The units in D-Tier deserve no specific descriptions as they’re the units you want to replace or sell as soon as you get one of the higher ones above. Still, they’re great for beginners, and none of them are trash. They’re just nerfed or lack the raw power to compete with others.
That’s it for my Fazbear World Tower Defense tier list. Don’t forget to grab some free stuff in the game with our Fazbear World TD codes.

]]>Trying to figure out which units to roll for in Ball Tower Defense’s various banners can be confusing. Not only are there a lot of units, but in some cases lower rarity units can be better than higher ones. I’m here to show you the best units in the game and rank them in my Ball Tower Defense unit tier list.
It’s important to note that in Ball Tower Defense, Omega units are drastically stronger than any other rarity so I’ll put them in a special SSS tier of their own. Then, I’ll rank units from S to E-Tier where the top two Tiers S and A are must-haves in your loadout. B-Tier are all-around great options that just lack the raw power of higher Tiers. Lastly, C, D, and E are for beginners and I would Reforge these for Gems once you get units from the higher tiers. Speaking of Gems, I’m also including Trade Values for units so keep an eye on those.
Name | Ranking Explanation | Trade Value |
Golem (Omega Exclusive) | The peak of BTD units stat-wise and the strongest unit in the game. While it's just slightly behind Omega Knight on AOE DPS it also has incredible Melee damage making it highly flexible. This is the meta. | Gems: 850k-1m Coins: 90m-100m Demand: 10 |
MechaBall (Omega) | I'm putting MechaBall second because it's incredibly effective on placement and is easy to max out, making it arguably the best starter out of SSS units. Also those Missiles going up to 3 million damage is no joke. | Gems: 850k-900k Coins: 85m - 90m Demand: 10 |
Omega Knight (Omega Exclusive) | The highest AOE damage in the game at 750k so if that's what you're after, this the best unit in the game for AOE. | Gems: 750k-800k Coins: 75m-80m Demand: 8 |
VoidBall (Omega) | The Jester is similar to the Golem unit in terms of its role, with lower damage but also cheaper upgrades and better speed and range making it an excellent alternative. | Gems: 500k Coins: 50m+ Demand: 9 |
Jester (Transcendent) | The Jester is similar to the Golem unit in terms of its role with lower damage but also cheaper upgrades and better speed and range making it an excellent alternative. | Gems: 200k-220k Coins: 20m-22m Demand: 7/10 |
Name | Ranking Explanation | Trade Value |
Baller (Mythic Exclusive) | The best DPS Mythical right now with bouncing attacks, incredible DPS, and affordable upgrades. | Gems: 120k Coins: 12m Demand: 10/10 |
GoldenMonkey (Mythic) | The best farming unit that's a must-have for any loadout. | Gems: 8k Coins: 800k Demand: 7/10 |
Boulder (Mythic) | I love the Boulder for its incredible AOE damage and range. You'll have to get used to it blocking your other units though. | Gems: 30k Coins: 3m Demand: 9/10 |
Chef (Legendary) | Another excellent farming unit. If you don't have GoldenMonkey, this is a must-have. | Gems: 150 Coins: 15k Demand: 4 |
KingBall (Mythic Exclusive) | With a fully upgraded KingBall you'll be summoning tons of units which is great utility for higher difficulties. | Gems: 12k Coins: 1.2m Demand: 6/10 |
VirusBall (Mythic) | The VirusBall is a quick way to get great DPS early and in an affordable way since it's a cheaper placement than other Mythicals and has low cost upgrades. | Gems: 7.5k Coins: 750k Demand: 5/10 |
FancyBall (Awesome) | The higher rarity farming units are better, but if you don't have them then this is a must-have unit and that makes it S Tier. | / |
Name | Ranking Explanation | Trade Value |
Slicer (Legendary Exclusive) | One of the best Legendary units for straight DPS. | Gems: 300 Coins: 30k Demand: 7 |
Crusher (Legendary Exclusive) | A Meta Legendary AOE damage unit with a great AOE range. | Gems: 350 Coins: 35k Demand: 7/10 |
BrainBall (Mythic) | The weakest Mythic with AutumnBall but still able to compete with Legendaries due to its Mythic stats. | Gems: 7k-8k Coins: 800k Demand: 4/10 |
MiniBaller (Legendary) | Another single-target DPS powerhouse with the added benefit of piercing units so proper placement matters a bit more than other single-target DPS units. | Gems: 300 Coins: 30k Demand: 7/10 |
Piercer (Legendary Exclusive) | Another single-target DPS powerhouse with the added benefit of piercing units, so proper placement matters a bit more than other single-target DPS units. | Gems: 250 Coins: 25k Demand: 6/10 |
RoboBall (Legendary) | An alternative pierce option with slightly cheaper upgrades. | Gems: 190 Coins: 19k Demand: 6/10 |
CrusherBall (Legendary Exclusive) | Not the strongest among legendaries but has a great AOE DPS for early waves. | Gems: 120 Coins: 120k Demand: 4/10 |
AngelBall (Legendary) | Has some of the highest single-target DPS in the game among Legendaries but it suffers from low range. | Gems: 130 Coins: 13k Demand: 4 |
GiantBall (Legendary) | GiantBall has some of the best AOE range among Legendaries and decent damage but it's definitely a weaker legendary option. | Gems: 90 Coins: 9k Demand: 2/10 |
Name | Ranking Explanation | Trade Value |
Partyman (Legendary) | Some of the weakest legendaries are found here in B-Tier but they're still Legendaries so their superb stats are still worthwhile to use if you don't have better ones. | Gems: 150 Coins: 15k Demand: 3/10 |
Turkey (Legendary) | Turkey and DartMonkey are nothing special but they'll still compete with most Awesome units either as cheap starters or DPS. | Gems: 500 Coins: 50k Demand: 6/10 |
MinerBall (Awesome Exclusive) | Some of the best DPS for Awesome units and it's also great right from placement. | / |
AutumnBall (Mythic) | I absolutely detest AutumnBall as it's not only the weakest Mythic but loses to some Legendaries as well. It probably shouldn't be this low among Awesome units but I couldn't resist. | Gems: 25k-30k Coins: 2.5m-3m Demand: 6/10 |
DartMonkey (Legendary) | See Turkey. | Gems: 100 Coins: 10k Demand: 1 |
PrincessBall (Legendary) | Farming units are must-haves in the game but PrincessBall generates so little Money on hit that any other farm unit is better. Still, she's still worthwhile for B-Tier if you don't have other farm units. | Gems: 150 Coins: 15k Demand: 6/10 |
VenomousBall (Awesome) | Excellent Awesome option for Poison effects which are better than burns and VenomousBall has decent DPS sa well. | / |
Skateboarder (Awesome) | While it's not the best DPS for Awesome units, its summon cooldown can get really good with upgrades. | / |
Knight (Awesome) | Has some great DPS in terms of Awesome units but requires upgrades to get going. | / |
LaserBall (Awesome) | One of the best Awesome Pierce DPS units if you can manage those expensive upgrades. | / |
PowerArmorBall (Awesome) | Manages incredible damage of up to 50k at max upgrade but is slower than other Awesome DPS units and doesn't have the best range. | / |
FrozenBall (Rare) | While FrozenBall can't compete DPS-wise in B-Tier, I still included it cause it's such a great support with that slow. | / |
Name | Ranking Explanation |
DemonBall (Awesome) | While the Burn damage is nice and outranks Rare units, DemonBall can't compete that well with other Awesome units so it's in C-Tier. |
RockBall (Rare Exclusive) | While it has lower range, it's one of the best Rare DPS units. |
Backpacker (Rare) | Want some cheap Pierce with decent DPS that's great right from placement? Backpacker is for you. |
BoxerBall (Rare) | An excellent beginner unit for good DPS. |
Sniper Ball (Rare) | The problem with Sniper is that while it has good damage, it's so slow and it's upgrades are quite expensive. |
BuildersClubBall (Rare) | One of the best Rare support units but I prefer the FrozenBall. Still, the builder can stall units well in the mid-game, just don't start with him. |
DaGrungy (Rare) | DaGrungy is not the strongest Rare unit but he can be quite useful utility wise for summoning and farming. |
FlameBall (Rare) | Just a reliable Burn unit that's not as good as the DemonBAll but still fine for beginner's. |
BeachBall (Odd) | The Odd unit in the game that can compete with some Rares. You just need to upgrade it twice to get it going. |
BombBall (Awesome) | The only thing BombBall does well in this game is troll people when you send it to them as a gift. |
PeasantBall (Rare) | One of the weakest farm units but still, farm is good if you don't have other options. |
Slinger (Rare) | One of the best Rare DPS options if you manage to get it going since it's bad on placement. |
MilitaryBall (Rare) | Similar to Slinger, can output some excellent damage among Rares but its expensive upgrades make it slow to start off. |
Noob (Rare) | You can start off quite well with Noobs if you don't have better rares since they're quire cheap and decent on placement. |
Name | Ranking Explanation |
Ball2.0 (Odd) | A cheap Odd unit that's good as a starter but nothing special. |
Monkey (Rare) | It's okay in terms of DPS but many Rares outclass it so I'm putting it in D-Tier. |
GrassMan (Rare) | Not the best DPS but has great AOE range which doesn't quite manage to rank it in C-Tier. |
Grug (Odd) | As you'll see with Odd units, they're mediocre and Grug is no different. Use them until you get better units and then dump them. |
PoliceBall (Odd) | Great as far as Odd units go with Pierce and okay DPS. |
ElectricBall (Normie) | The best Normie unit in the game with great DPS for beginner's. |
SurvivorBall (Odd) | Meh. |
Name | Ranking Explanation |
OldBall (Odd) | Low DPS and low range, I mean it's an old ball, what did you expect. |
Ball (Normie) | It's a ball. |
FireBall (Normie) | You'll get better units from your first chests but this will help you fill out your roster in your first few games. |
IceBall (Normie) | Actually works decently in your first few games as a great support. |
PoisonBall (Normie) | You can do better. |

]]>The Shark Head bait will be your best friend when it comes to grabbing the biggest catches in Fisch, but finding it can be a big challenge in itself.
As it's of Mythical rarity, Shark Head bait can be extremely difficult to find. It's going to be an equally expensive item as well, although you'll make up your resources quickly by using the item. Let's take a look at how you can get this Mythical bait in Fisch.
The only way to get the Shark Head bait, as of writing, is to open something called Quality Bait Crates. These red-colored crates can be opened with the help of 525 credits, but the entire affair can be quite expensive as you're not guaranteed the final reward.
There are two ways to get Quality Bait Crates. The easier but more expensive way is to visit Terrapin Island. You can then buy as many crates as you want and open them to find the Shark Head bait. While I do say it is expensive, this method can be cheap if you're in luck. After all, the drop rate of all the baits from this crate is the same. There is a chance that the first crate you buy could help you get the Mythical bait we are discussing.
The second method is cheap (it's free), but it can consume a lot of time. All you'll need is a Fishing Rod and Magnet Bait. Unlike the previous process, you can reel in a Quality Bait Crate from any location. But Snowcap and Sunstone Islands have reportedly better chances.
The second process is time-consuming because whether you get a Quality Bait Crate or not depends on luck. There's a second element of luck as well when it comes to opening the crate and getting your rewards. But it's still my recommended process as spending 525 credits, and maybe a lot of that isn't something that makes much sense to me.
Here are the stats of the Shark Head bait, and it's pretty clear why this Mythical item is so popular among Fisch players.
As I said earlier, this bait is your best bet at getting the best catches, including the powerful Megalodon. Make sure to use them selectively, as you're unlikely to have a lot of them in your inventory at any given time.

The NINJA Trello board stores information on basically everything currently in the game. Among other things, you can find out more about:
If you are looking for more answers to your questions, or you just want to socialize with the rest of the NINJA community, then you will want to visit the official Discord server. You can also stay up to date with all of the new sneak peeks by checking out the #announcements, #sneaks, and #updates channels.
Both the NINJA Trello board and the Discord server house so much information that you might even find them a bit difficult to navigate. To search the Trello board, use the Filter button in the upper-right corner to search for specific keywords. And for Discord, here are some useful prefixes you can use to narrow your search:
Prefix | Use | Prefix | Use |
---|---|---|---|
in: channel-name | Use to search specific channels like the #questions one (in: questions). | before: date | Look for messages that were sent before a specific date. |
from: username | Search for messages from a specific user. | after: date | Use to find messages that were sent after a certain date. |
has: image | Find all the messages that contain images. | pinned: true | Find all messages that are pinned on the server. |
You can also combine all of these prefixes to make up more complex searches. For example, to find all messages that have an image in the #announcements channel, use: in: announcements has: image.
And that's it for our NINJA Trello Link guide. If you need more information about some other Roblox titles you play, then feel free to check out the Roblox section of Destructoid.

]]>Anime Power Defense has a lot of content, both in terms of different levels and units. The easiest way to get access to information on everything is through their community channels. Here’s how to access the Anime Power Defense Trello.
Here are all of Anime Power Defense’s community channels where you can get the latest info on the game:
For clear-cut and organized information on the game, I highly recommend that you check out the Trello board first. There, you can find every piece of content and mechanic in the game sorted by category. Examples include:
The APD Wiki holds the same type of content but goes in-depth to explain each unit or game mode instead of just listing them. Both are run by the community, so you can expect regular updates on everything as they’re highly active on both platforms.
On the other hand, if you’re not looking for technical objective information and are looking for a more subjective approach, check out their Discord. The community gathers there to discuss strategies, best units, farming methods, and a lot more. This is also where you can ask specific questions you might have in both the General and Questions-and-Help channels.
Lastly, Discord is also where you can check out the latest updates, announcements, and patch notes. I’d recommend staying up to date on these for any giveaways that might pop up. Speaking of free stuff, codes can be found here, too. Stay tuned to Destructoid for more Anime Power Defense guides.

]]>Since you can choose which BTD banner you roll on, I’ll show you the best meta brawlers to roll for. Save up your gems and then go wild on rolls when you see these, or use your pity to get them. Here’s my ultimate Brawl Tower Defense unit tier list.
I’ll be rating Brawl Tower Defense units from best to worst across S-Tier to D-Tier. The higher Tiers will usually be about the best Legendaries and Mythics and how to use them. B-Tier is all about the best Epics, and the lowest Tiers are units you shouldn’t really worry about. Each Tier is ordered so that the better units are higher, so I highly recommend using your pity on the highest-rated unit in each Tier.
That’s it for my best Brawl Tower Defense unit tier list. Stay tuned to Destructoid for more BTD guides.

]]>Dynamite, spikes, and whirlpools surround Ancient Isles, and those are all capable of sending you down to the Davy Jones' locker! They'll also be your first obstacle to acquiring Fisch's deadliest catch, the Megalodon. To help you get it in the shortest amount of time, here is our complete guide on how to catch Megalodon in Fisch.
The Megalodon Event in Fisch starts in the open ocean behind the Ancient Isle (~7200, 130, 200), right when the day/night switch happens. The chances of it occurring are relatively high compared to those of other events, and it's currently much more common than regular Shark Hunts.
Also, the dynamite, spikes, and whirlpools that usually spawn around the Ancient Isle can't spawn this far out in the ocean. However, they can still get you while you make your way from the Ancient Isles, so use the fastest boat you have to dodge them.
The most reliable and foolproof way of starting the Megalodon Event yourself in Fisch is to spam Sundial Totems. That way, you can force a day/night switch every ~20 seconds, which should allow you to get a Megalodon Event in about 10 minutes on average.
If you don't want to spend money on totems, then you can try server hopping until you find a server where whales are spamming the Sundials themselves. You can also invite your friends and share the expense of totem-spamming with them.
The Megalodon is the largest fish in the game right now, with its average weight being around 50,000 kg. So, most normal rods are out of the question (Rod of Depths's passive can't catch it, either). Here is the list of all rods you can use to catch a Megalodon in Fisch, including the best enchants and bait to use with them:

Shark Head Super Flakes Weird Algae Night Shrimp |
The easiest to get and use from the above-mentioned rods are the Steady Rod and the King's Rod. Also, they are very useful for catching other big fish, so getting them should be a priority. Enchanting the King's Rod with Hasty is also a must.
The Ancient Megalodon and the Phantom Megalodon are just variations of the regular Megalodon, and the chances for the Meg you catch to be one of those are ~1/3 and ~1/10, respectively.
Also, the Phantom Megalodon can only be caught during real-life weekends, and you can increase the chance of getting him by using an Eclipse Totem.
Now, if you follow our guide to the letter, you should be able to catch your first Megalodon in Fisch with ease. After you catch him, you'll also get an exclusive cutscene and, of course, the bragging rights of catching a Meg.
That concludes our guide on how to catch a Megalodon in Fisch. If you need help with something else related to this experience, be sure to check out the Fisch section here on Destructoid.
