How to complete All Fortnite Jade and the Mask story quests in Chapter 6 Season 1

We’ve now wrapped up Fortnite’s Kendo’s Calling quest line, with Jade & the Mask following after. During this story, we’ll learn more about a new character, Daigo, and his connection to dark magic. You’ll need to investigate the map, but it’s all for saving the world from incoming demon invasions.

Here’s a list of every Jade & the Mask Story quest you’ll find in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1:

Every objective of Jade & the Mask gives you seasonal EXP. The next series, Splinters of Possibility, begins on January 7, 2025, giving you the entirety of December to complete this quest.

Speak to Kendo about Daigo’s use of dark magic

Our first objective is to revisit Kendo and talk to him about Daigo, his brother, who is suspected of using dark magic. You initially met Kendo during the Kendo’s Calling quest series, with him still fighting demons at the portal near Nightshift Forest and Twinkle Terrace.

After defeating the demon and eliminating any nearby players stopping you from progressing, speak to Kendo to learn more about the current situation. He reveals Jade has gone missing and suspects Daigo is involved somehow. Before disappearing, Jade investigated the demon invasion while Daigo was experimenting with dark magic. Let’s hear Jade’s side of the story.

Look into the Portal to find Jade

After your conversation with Kendo, turn around and talk to the portal. Be careful though, as it’ll push you back if you get too close. You’ll need to get close enough to find the interact button option without activating its knockback. Fortunately, this isn’t too challenging, as it’s just a matter of positioning your character at the right distance.

As you interact with the portal, you’ll find Jade’s face within, telling you about a shard. She has no other information, prompting you to directly investigate Daigo’s hidden workshop to learn more.

Locate and investigate Daigo’s underground Hidden Workshop

Our next goal is to locate Daigo’s underground Hidden Workshop in Masked Meadows. While the quest marker brings you to a base that Daigo patrols, your actual destination is an underground tunnel at the landmark’s east side. You’ll find purple smoke coming out of it, marking its location.

If you’re approaching Masked Meadows from the sky or ground, you’ll notice multiple entrances with smoke coming out of them. Each one interconnects with the other, but this entrance is the closest to our next objective, making it the easiest path to navigate later.

Once you enter the underground hidden workshop and travel through its tunnels, you’ll find a four-way intersection with a new objective to investigate the area. Turn right to find some white exclamation mark icons pointing you to your next destination.

Kendo will tell you more about each item as you investigate each item. After examining everything, you’ll get a new objective to find an Oni mask throughout your matches.

Collect a Fire or Void Oni Mask

Fire and Void Oni Masks are weapons you’ll find as rare chest and floor loot around your Fortnite map. However, if you’re still in Daigo’s hidden workshop, you’ll find a guaranteed spawn next to the spirit cage. This is by far the easiest and fastest way to get one without risking other players eliminating you.

Interact with it to gain a mask for Jade’s quest, bringing you one step closer to completing this storyline.

Decide to use the Mask or rid yourself of it

This one is a quick decision you need to make. You can either drop it from your inventory or use it during the match. The choice is entirely up to you but the masks do have some cool abilities. While the Fire Oni Mask lets you shoot fireballs, the Void Oni Mask enables you to teleport up to 100 meters away, making it a great traversal tool.

Return to Kendo

With that decision out of the way, it’s time to return to Kendo and discuss the situation once more. He comments on Jade and Daigo again, questioning how Jade managed to get into the Spirit Realm. Once the conversation ends, you’ll complete the Jade and the Mask quest series, readying you for Splinters of Possibility in January 2025.
