During Fortnite’s Jade and the Mask quest series in Chapter 6, Season 1, Kendo and Jade will ask you to locate Daigo’s underground hidden workshop to learn more about his involvement in the story’s development. They believe Daigo is hiding something, prompting you to uncover the truth and step closer to stopping the ongoing demon battle.

Daigo’s underground hidden workshop is located in the eastern and westerns part of Masked Meadows. While the quest marker will point you to a building in the northern part, this leads you to a building where Daigo, the NPC, will wander around. Instead, you’ll need to follow the purple smoke to an underground tunnel.
Once you arrive at the eastern or western side of Masked Meadows and find the purple smoke emanating from the underground entrances, jump inside and run forward through the tunnels until you knock out the quest objective. As you explore the workshop, you’ll find various chests and floor loot to pick up in case another player tries to eliminate you.
Upon exploring the tunnel, you’ll find a new objective to investigate Daigo’s hidden workshop, bringing you closer to finishing this quest series.
How to investigate Daigo’s hidden workshop in Fortnite
You’ll find a new objective to investigate the base shortly after entering Daigo’s hidden workshop. As you approach a four-way intersection in the tunnels, you’ll spot white exclamation marks to your right, indicating your destination for the investigation.
In the room to your right (or left if you used the western entrance,) you’ll need to investigate the following objects:
- Purple smoke machine
- Birdcage
- Oni masks
- Green painting
After checking out each item, you’ll deduce that you must locate a Void or Fire Oni mask, knocking out this task and officially marking the halfway point in Fortnite’s Jade and the Mask questline.
